Packed with over 30+ years of teaching experience with our instructor, the Institute offers practical, instructor-led IC layout training through a combination of technical lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on layout projects based on a sub-micron, multi-layer metal BiCMOS technology.
Silicon Drafting Institute was established in 1995 in the heart of Silicon Valley by high-tech professionals in the area of Integrated Circuit design and layout. We are licensed by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education in the State of California.
SDI holds firm to its commitment to provide the most comprehensive and the best developed IC layout design the training course. The curriculum is custom tailored to meet the most competitive needs in the semiconductor industry.
本校Silicon Drafting Institute (簡稱 SDI) 創校於1995年，位於加州硅谷區中心地帶SAN JOSE，專門教授半導體集成電路設計遠近馳名。
SDI 逕由灣區頗負盛名黎和平(WooPing Lai) 老師所領導培養優秀 IC Mask Designers （IC 佈局工程師）貢獻於各大公司不遺餘力，如 Apple, Intel, Texas Instruments, Micron..... 等等，並且深受各大主管的信任與喜愛，爭相聘請本校畢業生，SDI 與有榮焉。
回顧廿幾年來，SDI 始終堅守崗位教導學生從最基礎的半導體認識，到初步地邏輯學習，引導學生由淺入深吸收高科技製作的精華，督促學生從無知至認識，從認識到了解，更從了解至精通，扶持學生們潛移默化各個走向高科技領域並且迎接人生勝利的開始。
